Schachspringer
Coming soonThe chess ladder for clubs: challenge, win, move up.
Schachspringer brings competition into the club without anyone having to run a tournament. Players challenge others on the ladder; the winner swaps places with the player challenged — the higher up, the better. This gives chess newcomers in particular a permanent competitive environment against opponents at their level.
What it offers
- A ladder instead of a tournament: competition runs continuously, with no arbiter and no fixed date.
- Challenge principle: beating a higher-ranked player means swapping places — the ranking takes care of itself.
- Low barrier to entry: newcomers face opponents at their level and climb at their own pace.
- Complements Matchmerize in the Huehn Solutions chess cluster: tournaments there, the ongoing club ladder here.
- In active development — launch will be announced.
Target group
Chess clubs, school groups and beginners who want to play competitively on a regular basis — without the effort of an organised tournament.
